Join us for a guided conversation, meditation, reflection, and song, fortifying our spirits and in the struggle for climate change.
      About this event
An interactive, multi-faith work shop led by Rev. Fred Small

A Unitarian Universalist minister, singer-songwriter, and former environmental lawyer, Rev. Fred Small is Minister for Climate Justice at Arlington Street Church, Boston, and Director of Faith Outreach for Climate XChange, which advocates for carbon pricing legislation in Massachusetts.

Cited by Bill McKibben as “one of the key figures in the religious environmental surge,” Grist Magazine has named Fred one of the 15 Green Religious Leaders.

Small graduated from Yale University and the University of Michigan, from which he earned both a J.D. degree and a master’s in environmental policy. His first position was as staff attorney for the Conservation Law Foundation. After graduating from Harvard Divinity School, he served as Senior Minister at First Parish in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Small resigned in September 2015 to devote his energies to climate advocacy.
