The Cape and Islands Youth Climate Action Summit is a day-long event for youth and accompanying teachers from across Cape Cod to learn more about the climate crisis from many individual perspectives! The annual summit is a key program in Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary’s Youth Climate Leadership Program. The last Summit was held in 2019 and attended by more than 100 students, teachers, and climate advocates from across Cape Cod. The summits were suspended in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, but planning is underway for a 2022 Climate Summit.
