The Massachusetts Executive Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience (OCIR) wants to hear from residents across the state about how increased flooding, extreme heat, and climate uncertainty have impacted communities, businesses, public health or affordability. The aim is to develop an understanding for the challenges that communities are facing across different regions, and to use that knowledge to help connect communities with resources to strengthen resiliency, keep communities safe and healthy, and to continue driving action towards solutions.
This session, hosted by the Wellfleet Preservation Hall, will be on Wednesday, October 15th from 1:30 – 3:30pm. Later in the fall, there will be sessions in Central Massachusetts, the North Shore and Greater Boston.
Sessions will also include a creative component featuring Massachusetts based artists and will showcase work from state Poet Laureate, Regie Gibson.
