Community Workshop Outreach

Please join a public workshop to inform the Eastham Climate Action Plan, which intends to provide a local strategy to support climate adaptation, mitigation, and resiliency measures in Eastham.  Ultimately, the Eastham Climate Action Plan will create a comprehensive roadmap for addressing climate change at the local level, guiding future decision-making and prioritization.

The workshop will be on July 29th at the Eastham Public Library from 6-7:30 PM. The evening will include a brief presentation about the project, followed by a facilitated group conversation. Discussion topics will include considerations needed in energy, building and development, natural resources, transportation, emergency preparedness, and continued education and collaboration.

Community participation is essential to the success of this planning process. Eastham community members are encouraged to join and share their perspectives and vision for Eastham’s climate future.
