There will be a Public Informational Meeting and Q & A addressing Pilgrim Lake Water Quality Water Quality, Cyanobacteria, and Article 32 Funding for Interim Water Quality Remediation/Alum Treatment
The Town Marine and Freshwater Quality Committee will host a meeting addressing alum treatment associated with the presence of cyanobacteria at Pilgrim Lake, proposed in Town Meeting Article 32.
Speakers: Ed Eichner, Principal Scientist, TMDL Coastal Solutions, Adjunct Faculty Coastal Systems Program, SMAST and UMASSD; Alexandra Fitch, Health Department, Town of Orleans, and George Meservey, Director of Planning and Community Development, Town of Orleans.
Meeting will take place in the Nauset Room, Town Offices.
